Business Development Representative

We're looking for a driven individual to join our
Business Development Representative (BDR) team as we pioneer the way in offering a powerful regulated content management platform designed for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinical research organizations.
- Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for the company's SaaS and Service offerings, within the life sciences industry.
- Playing a critical role in building relationships with key decision makers, including executive level stakeholders,
- Driving sales growth.
This is a remote position, (with maybe a few days in office as agreed with your manager) allowing you to work from anywhere within Canada (although Montreal based applicants will be prioritized).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Foster relationships with key decision makers in emerging lifescience organizations until they become fully qualified prospects for the Account Executive team.
- Collaborate with the Account Executive team to develop and execute sales strategies and plans
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the Montrium's CRM system (HubSpot)
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual qualified sales opportunity targets
- Stay uptodate on industry trends to inform sales strategy and messaging
Your Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in an outbound sales or business development role
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficiency in gathering and sharing information
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Able to connect business needs to solutions
- Strong computer skills, proficient on Windows OS and Office Applications
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong communication skills written and verbal

- Experience in the life sciences industry
- Grit the perseverance and passion to achieve longterm goals, even in the face of challenges and setbacks. In this role, grit will be key to successfully cultivating relationships with potential clients.
