Trafficjunky is a self-serve advertising platform that specializes in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, and pop under ads. We are looking for an established sales representative who is hungry and eager to make an impact. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for the growth of our Cannabis & CBD Market. This person will play a critical role in developing a new market for TrafficJunky. As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities and attending trade shows. We are looking for someone with sales driven passion and previous experience in Cannabis, CBD, marketing, technology and specifically AdTech. You are driven by building and developing new business opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the marketContact potential clients through cold calls, emails, Linkedin outreach, etc.Identify client needs and suggest appropriate marketing campaigns based on available Trafficjunky targeting options.Consistent documentation of conversations with prospective customersSet up meetings or calls with potential clientsContinue to follow-up with prospects until qualification is completeReport to the leadership on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales resultsAttending trade shows and engaging with industry trade associationsWhat you'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
3+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Track record of achieving sales quotasExperience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)Understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and listening skillsPrevious experience in client-facing digital media including, but not limited to, online advertising, media buying, affiliate marketing, or account managementFamiliarity with online pricing models – CPM, CPC, CPA, etc.Nice to Haves:
