As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction estimating process, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the printing department, including scheduling, production, quality control, and maintenance of printing equipment.
  • Manage a team of printing technicians, operators, and support staff, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and design teams to understand client requirements, provide printing solutions, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement production plans, workflows, and procedures to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and meet production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of print quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies, materials, and equipment, and coordinate procurement activities to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of printing equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating repairs or upgrades as necessary.
  • Stay updated on emerging printing technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and budget forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth and optimization.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and collaboration, and motivate employees to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in printing operations management
  • Indepth knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and software, including offset printing, digital printing, prepress operations, and finishing techniques.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving abilities, with a customercentric approach to service delivery.
  • Proficiency in printing software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, color management systems, and workflow automation tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including environmental sustainability practices, health and safety guidelines, and quality control procedures.
  • Strong business acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed, to accommodate production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel to client sites or offsite meetings.
