We are recruiting on behalf of a company who is building its team with high performing individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Great opportunity to focus on M&A activities from pre and post deal closure as ownership is retained to ensure success within the corporate structure of growth. They are seeking a qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) for this newly created role that provides excellent mentorship and exposure to business leaders.

Key responsibilities and oversight:


• Play an integral role in financial assessment of corporate development opportunities


• Support the development and refining of various forecasting tools for existing and new initiatives


• Assist with deal documentation and transaction close from pre and post deal acquisition.


• Lead and coordinate the financial due diligence process across all active opportunities


• Evaluation of potential transactions and prepare financial scenarios, projections, and business cases


• Assist with the maintenance and updating of the cash flow and business valuation model


• Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders across business segments


• Lead various analysis of special projects as assigned

The company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary plus annual performance bonus, employee share purchase plan, full benefits, and discount on products. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:


• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation


• 5+ years of total work experience including CPA qualification pathway


• 2+ years of relevant public accounting experience in an M&A or Transaction Advisory role


• Aptitude for translating quantitative data into value-added analysis and recommendations


• Ability to work independently and in a team, environment supporting changing priorities


• Strong Excel proficiency including financial modelling skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication
