Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to join our team at Momentmtech. As a key member of our Global Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in driving our organization's growth through strategic acquisitions in the transportation technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate potential acquisition targets in the transportation software space, identifying opportunities that align with our business strategy.
- Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to connect with CEOs and founders of target companies, building relationships and negotiating deals.
- Analyze prospects and ensure they meet our acquisition criteria, including financial, operational, and cultural fit.
- Manage our M&A pipeline in Salesforce, tracking leads and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Represent Momentmtech with professionalism and expertise, engaging with various stakeholders and communicating our vision and goals.
- Travel occasionally (around 10%) to conferences and meetings, representing our company and building relationships with industry leaders.
Requirements:
- You hold a business, finance, or economics degree, with a strong understanding of the transportation technology industry and its trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-level executives and negotiate complex deals.
- You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and exceeding goals.
- Persistence and drive are essential, as you will need to build relationships and close deals in a competitive market.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel is a plus, as well as experience in the transportation industry or sales.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in deal sourcing, venture capital, or private equity, with a deep understanding of the software industry and its trends.
