Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

About the Role:
Volaris Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to join our corporate strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our M&A and strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal consulting projects and drive corporate initiatives to support our M&A and growth strategy
- Develop financial models to evaluate the viability of investment opportunities and support decision-making
- Conduct analysis on critical strategic questions and provide actionable insights to our M&A teams
- Perform due diligence on specific investment and acquisition opportunities
- Prepare business summaries, investment memos, and model analysis charts to support trade-offs and decision-making
- Track key M&A goals and KPIs for reporting purposes
Requirements:
- At least 3-6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or a similar analytical role
- Experience in M&A is considered an asset
- Business or Finance degree (HBA, BBA, BComm, etc.)
- Professional accounting designation (CPA/CA/CFA/CBV), considered an asset
- Industry-related experience (software, PE, VC, etc.), considered an asset
