Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional to join our Global Mergers and Acquisitions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our organization's growth through strategic partnerships and acquisitions in the people transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify potential acquisition targets in the transportation software space.
- Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to connect with CEOs and founders of target companies.
- Analyze prospects and ensure they align with Modaxo's strategic growth criteria.
- Manage our Mergers and Acquisitions pipeline in Salesforce, tracking leads and nurturing relationships.
- Represent Modaxo with professionalism while engaging with various stakeholders, including high-level executives and industry experts.
- Travel occasionally (around 10%) to conferences and meetings to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements
- You hold a business, finance, or economics degree with a keen eye for spotting great acquisition opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, allowing you to build rapport with high-level executives and industry experts.
- You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and exceeding goals.
- Persistence is your middle name You have the drive to build relationships and close deals.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- Experience in the software industry or sales is a major advantage.
