Senior IT Project Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our Digital Solutions team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading projects in the area of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and new sites, focusing on Information Services to enable business solutions.
About the Role- Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead IT projects with a focus on business targets, delivering complete projects on time, within budget, scope, and high quality.
- Drive the delivery model in alignment with BASF Digital Services strategy targets.
- Lead large cross-functional, cross-regional project teams throughout the project phases in a global environment.
- Set up project organizations, identify relevant roles, and staff project teams.
- Ensure project process compliance, support project approval and change management processes, achieve project stage gates, and provide status reporting.
- Masters degree / University degree of Applied Sciences degree (Information Technologies, Business IT, Business Administration) or related field.
- PMP Certification or similar (PMI, Prince, etc.).
- At least 5 years professional experience in project management, including mergers & acquisitions projects and familiarity with IT challenges.
- SAP ERP experience is a plus.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and communication skills.
- Well-developed conflict management skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
