Summary


We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Cannabis Delivery for our enterprise Delivery division.

As the Director of Cannabis Delivery, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of our delivery operations across Canada within our cannabis banner portfolio, as well as working with internal business partners to create a best-in-class customer experience to enable and deliver cannabis to all Canadians.


Core Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of delivery operations, logistics, supply chain management, and marketing strategies.
  • Experience in managing largescale delivery operations, preferably in a multilocation or national setting.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing delivery strategies and marketing campaigns to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and increased customer traffic.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance requirements in Canada is a plus.
  • Exceptional leadership, people management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall delivery and marketing strategies for our ecommerce platform and delivery department, aligning them with the company's business goals and objectives. This includes setting delivery and marketing goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishing delivery service level agreements (SLAs) and marketing targets.
  • Operations Management: Manage all aspects of the delivery department, including staffing, training, and performance management. Ensure efficient and effective delivery operations, optimizing routes, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and costeffectiveness. Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive operational excellence in delivery operations.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the delivery fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, compliance with regulations, and safety standards. Monitor fleet performance and make datadriven decisions to optimize fleet size, composition, and routing.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with thirdparty delivery partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration and coordination of delivery services. Establish strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure quality and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain a customercentric approach in delivery operations, ensuring exceptional delivery experiences for our customers. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, resolve deliveryrelated issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Marketing Strategies: Work with our Enterprise Marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to increase customer traffic to our ecommerce platform and drive volumes and sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to attract and retain customers.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and systems to track delivery and marketing performance, identify trends, and generate insights. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 510 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
