The role of the Convenience Retail (CR) Director is to lead the end-to-end convenience retail program for a chain of 56 convenience stores/fuel stations located in Western Canada. As the lead of our CR Team, you will need to represent the CR business with the company’s leadership team, collaborating with all other functions and business units to ensure the sites are fully stocked with the right products, at the right price, with the right promotions in place to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience and drive non-fuels profit for the company.

As CR Director your role is to manage the end-to-end strategy and execution of our CR program for all non-fuel products and services at 56 convenience retail sites/gas stations across Western Canada.

**Accountabilities**
- Create and execute fit-for-purpose CR strategy, promotion strategy, and inventory control strategy to drive profitable sales and minimize controllable costs. Management of product offerings, manage vendor relationships, execution of promotions. Create and implement planograms and manage communications to the sales teams.
- Pricebook management with multiple price zones across the country to ensure fair and competitive prices are being offered on all products across the country.
- Safety & ethics: Ensure that robust practices and policies are in place to keep staff and customers safe and comply with regulations. This includes license/permit management for categories such as tobacco, lottery or any other applicable categories.
- Drive the company’s CR innovation strategy, aspire to make our company stand out as an innovative leader in the competitive convenience retail marketplace.

**What We Need From You**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Comprehensive leadership experience leading teams of professionals. Demonstrates strong skillset influencing others, accountability, and collaboration.
- Technical background in IT systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skill to work with a wide cross section of management, staff, and delivery partner organizations.
- Organized and effective presentation and communication skillset.
- Manage a team and a high level of accountability.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
