**Regional Director, British Columbia (Full-Time)**

Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre is a growing nonprofit organization with an exciting mission: accelerating the growth and impact of cleantech ecosystems across Canada. We bring together industry, government, academia, investors, and innovators to address today’s most urgent climate issues. We’re looking for a strategic connector with excellent communication and organization skills to lead our cleantech ecosystem development program in British Columbia.

As a member of our BCNZIN (BC Net Zero Innovation Network) team, you will report to our COO. You will lead program budget and proposal development, government reporting, strategic connections & network building in British Columbia, and oversee and execute all processes for programs, projects and initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in translating vision into action, driving tangible outcomes that propel the cleantech sector forward in British Columbia.

The successful applicant will be a true community builder that is passionate about reducing Canada’s climate impact through technology innovation. This means that you are a great writer and communicator, a team player, an entrepreneurial self-starter, are comfortable working remotely, and have strong time and project management skills.

**Essential Duties And Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the execution manager for Foresight, ensuring seamless implementation of initiatives and programs aimed at bolstering the cleantech community in British Columbia.
- Orchestrate the execution of Foresight’s initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with various teams within Foresight, including the Marketing, Communications, Technology, and Acceleration teams, to streamline efforts and maximize impact.
- Lead proposal development, project management, budgeting, and reporting processes for all programs operating in British Columbia.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team, encouraging novel approaches and out-of-the-box thinking to tackle complex problems and drive impactful solutions in the cleantech sector.
- Cultivate partnerships and fostering collaborations between industry sectors, government bodies, and corporate entities to foster innovation and growth within the cleantech ecosystem.
- Work closely with the COO and Director of Partnerships to craft and implement a tailored strategy for British Columbia, addressing the unique needs and opportunities within the region.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving needs and dynamics within the cleantech ecosystem, swiftly adjusting strategies and tactics as necessary to seize emerging opportunities and address challenges effectively.

**Experience**:

- Minimum five years experience in either government, nonprofit, or private sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are imperative.
- Proficient in project and time management, ensuring optimal efficiency and delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership prowess, adept at motivating, influencing, and coordinating high-performing teams.
- Experience in proposal writing and reporting is an asset.
- Expertise in the clean technology industry, corporate sustainability, and social and environmental impact programming is a considerable advantage.

**Job Type**:Full-Time

**Rate**:$105,000 - $115,000 base + benefits (key is best fit and experience for the role)
