What you'll do

As the Manager, Advertising Operations for our dynamic Retail Media Network, you will be at the helm of our advertising unit, leading the team that sets the gold standard in executing client campaigns within the retail media network space.   • Drive the strategic vision for ad operations on retail media platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs

  • Lead and inspire the ad operations team, setting high-performance standards and championing professional development

  • Oversee the management, launch, and continuous optimization of advertising campaigns across multiple channels

  • Establish robust processes for analyzing campaign performance to maximize effectiveness and ROI

  • Cultivate strong interdepartmental relationships to facilitate integrated, efficient campaign delivery

  • Remain ahead of the curve on market trends and competitor shifts, advising the strategy team on potential implications

  • Administer campaign budgets and projections, relentlessly pursuing excellence in client investment outcomes

  • Promote an ethos of testing and learning, pushing the boundaries of ad placements, targeting approaches, and creative innovation

  • Act as a key advisor to clients, offering deep insights and guidance to enhance their advertising strategies

  • Collaborate closely with product development to translate frontline feedback into tangible enhancements for our advertising solutions

  • Author comprehensive reports that not only track campaign performance but also inform future strategic initiatives

  • Proactively address campaign challenges, standing at the ready with remedies that are both swift and measured

  • Maintain a responsive and flexible campaign management strategy that can quickly adapt to platform or market alterations

  • Support the sales team with media plan development and strategic pitches to reinforce pre-sales efforts

  • Drive continued learning within the team to master the latest in retail media technology and practices

What you bring

  • At least 5-7 years of strategic leadership experience in digital advertising campaign management for retail media or related sectors

  • Proven track record of scaling ad-operations and driving significant growth within the digital advertising space (retail-media specific is preferred), managing budgets >$10M CAD per year

  • Expert-level proficiency in data analysis with a history of using insights to spearhead campaign innovation

  • Exemplary communication skills paired with a collaborative spirit to forge and nurture cross-functional alliances

  • Deep expertise in the complexities of retail media networks and a proven leader in the evolution of the advertising industry

  • Exceptional project management skills, balancing multiple initiatives with finesse and unwavering precision

  • A visionary mindset, constantly engaged with emerging industry trends and preparing the team for the future of advertising
