Airbotics Talent are excited to be supporting a leader in the Canadian and North American service and distributor market. Central to their growth is the recruitment of a Canada based Sales Manager with the skills, drive and aptitude to grow their business whilst also managing a high performing Business Development team.

Candidates should be Canadian citizens with a right to work and willing and able to travel to customers as required.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be leading a growing Canadian and North American sales team and report in to the Director of Sales. This role will be pivotal in the growth and success the business both in terms of revenue generation and team leadership and development.

Key Responsibilities:


• Market Research and Target Identification: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customer segments, industry trends, and competitors. Develop a targeted approach to reach out to new customers.


• Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive growth and exceed targets.


• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical business development executives.


• Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the advantages and capabilities of the company's drones.


• Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking prospects from initial contact through the sales cycle, and ensuring timely follow-ups.


• Negotiation and Closing: Skilfully negotiate terms and pricing agreements with potential customers, working closely with the sales team to close deals and meet revenue targets.


• Feedback Loop: Provide regular feedback from the field, sharing market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with the internal teams to refine product offerings and strategies.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:


• Experience selling drone, UAV or Arial Mapping solutions.


• A minimum of 5 year's experience in sales, 2 of which in a leadership or mentorship capacity.


• Motivational leadership qualities, capable of upskilling, nurturing and developing sales talent and driving a high performing sales culture.


• A track record of sales growth.


• A proactive "hunter" mentality, with a passion for identifying and winning new business.


• You should be mobile and willing and available for domestic travel across Canada.


• A Degree in Engineering or other associated fields for technical input to the sales process would be advantageous but not essential.


• Similarly, experience flying drones would be beneficial but not a firm requirement.
