Role Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base in Alberta and beyond. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our services to key decision-makers in various industries


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients, addressing their specific QA/QC, Welding Inspection, NDT, and technical staffing needs.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing our services, capabilities, and value proposition.
  7. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  8. Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and standards related to QA/QC, Welding Inspection, NDT, and technical staffing.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  10. Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and market trends to management.


The Ideal Candidate Profile :


  1. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the technical staffing or technical services / NDT industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of QA/QC, Welding Inspection, NDT, and technical staffing services is highly desirable.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.
  5. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  8. Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, as visa sponsorship is not provided.
