JOB STATEMENT:

Reporting to Team Lead of Contracting and Licensing, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing and maintaining agent contract and license requirements at IDC WIN. The candidate must be detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and have the capability to provide guidance and direction to internal staff and external clients.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviewing contracting and licensing documents for completion;
  • Submitting contracting and licensing documents to insurance carriers and regulators;
  • Entering data to advisor profiles and maintaining records on advisor files;
  • Tracking and following up on pending contract files;
  • Assisting external clients with inquiries relating to carrier contracts, license and E&O coverage, and the APEXA platform;
  • Reviewing the contracting and licensing process to ensure compliance to business, carrier and regulatory requirements; and
  • Performing other related functions as required and assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Industry experience and working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, APEXA and Wealthserv an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • High degree of integrity and initiative
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Ability to handle multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Professional presentation


COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $42,000 to $50,000, commensurate with experience. Employees are also eligible to participate in the group benefits plan starting on their first day of employment.
