About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts, focusing on luxury events in Toronto.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging your network to open doors and secure high-profile partnerships.
  • Work closely with the events team in Toronto and Singapore to plan and execute top-tier events.
  • Coordinate with the production staff and creativity team to ensure flawless execution.
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize profitability.
  • Engage in networking events, industry committees, and cold calling to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company as a brand ambassador in the luxury market.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Provide market insights to guide business strategies and identify new opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • 10-15 years of experience in the events industry, with a strong focus on the Toronto market.
  • Knowledge of venues, suppliers, hotels, and event production is essential.
  • A significant network in high-end markets, such as luxury watches, is highly desirable.
  • Active participation in industry events and committees is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, plan events, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional, driven, and strategic, with a keen interest in luxury events.
  • A strong business acumen and ability to think creatively in problem-solving.
