We're hiring a Financial Services Engagement and Marketing Coordinator
Are you life insurance licensed and looking for a dynamic sales and marketing support role in the financial services industry? Do you like a balanced workload that includes client service, marketing and administration?
We seek a creative professional with strong organizational skills who enjoys documenting and following processes and improving workflows in a digital environment. Experience with industry-related software and platforms and an LLQP license are required.
About this Role:
The Financial Services Engagement and Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in operationalizing strategy by improving existing processes and workflows, supporting daily operations, manage marketing and administrative functions in alignment with best practices, compliance, regulations, and firm guidelines.
In the initial phase, you'll focus on updating communication and service delivery systems for a modern workplace. It includes the integration and streamlining of administrative and marketing functions. As these systems mature, your role will shift to more client-facing tasks like sales support and nurturing existing client relationships.
What You'll Do:
Process and Workflow Setup (Initial Focus)
a. Design and implement efficient processes for regulatory and compliance documentation.
b. Automate CRM workflows to streamline investment and insurance transactions.
c. Process documentation and help improve overall operational efficiency.
d. Support new and existing team members on the processes and workflows.
Meeting Preparation
a. Prepare compliance documents and tailored sales materials for client and prospect meetings.
b. Ensure all materials meet industry standards and client needs.
Client Engagement
a. Facilitate insurance applications and account updates for existing clients.
b. Service and deepen relationships with existing clients and maintain accurate records.
Sales Enablement (Growth Focus)
a. Support and develop resources to address client questions and communicate product benefits.
b. Assist in transitioning customers into long-term clients through tailored solutions.
Marketing Coordination
a. Execute marketing strategies that help engage and support customers and clients meaningfully.
b. Manage client communications and campaigns to enhance engagement.
What We're Looking For:
Education
• LLQP Life and Accident and Sickness LLQP insurance license required.
• Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Finance is an asset.
Experience
• Familiar with industry-related software and platforms. It may include third-party software, CRMs, carrier and MGA platforms.
• Knowledge of the sales and administration compliance and regulatory requirements for life and health insurance products.
Skills
• Proficiency in 365 Microsoft Office
• Easily navigate industry-specific software; multiple carriers and back office platforms required.
• Experience using cross-platform graphic design tools to manage existing branded content.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Alberta insurance products, focusing on servicing existing client needs.
