Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and process-driven Financial Services Engagement and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in operationalizing strategy by improving existing processes and workflows, supporting daily operations, managing marketing and administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with regulations and firm guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and Workflow Setup (Initial Focus)
    • Design and implement efficient processes for regulatory and compliance documentation.
    • Automate CRM workflows to streamline investment and insurance transactions.
    • Process documentation and help improve overall operational efficiency.
    • Support new and existing team members on the processes and workflows.
  • Meeting Preparation
    • Prepare compliance documents and tailored sales materials for client and prospect meetings.
    • Ensure all materials meet industry standards and client needs.
  • Client Engagement
    • Facilitate insurance applications and account updates for existing clients.
    • Service and deepen relationships with existing clients and maintain accurate records.
  • Sales Enablement (Growth Focus)
    • Support and develop resources to address client questions and communicate product benefits.
    • Assist in transitioning customers into long-term clients through tailored solutions.
  • Marketing Coordination
    • Execute marketing strategies that help engage and support customers and clients meaningfully.
    • Manage client communications and campaigns to enhance engagement.
Requirements
  • LLQP Life and Accident and Sickness LLQP insurance license required.
  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Finance is an asset.
  • Familiar with industry-related software and platforms.
  • Knowledge of the sales and administration compliance and regulatory requirements for life and health insurance products.
  • Proficiency in 365 Microsoft Office.
  • Easily navigate industry-specific software; multiple carriers and back office platforms required.
  • Experience using cross-platform graphic design tools to manage existing branded content.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Alberta insurance products, focusing on servicing existing client needs.
  • Attributes: Process-driven, client-focused, team-oriented, with a keen eye for detail.

Compensation Package
