Membership Administrator

The Arbutus Club has been a landmark in Vancouver since 1964. Our motto is ‘Putting Families First’ and we value a happy and safe work environment.

As the Membership Administrator, you will be the point of contact for member inquiries, you would provide timely correspondence, and a notable experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well spoken, organized and have strong communication skills. 

The Arbutus Club is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Membership Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our members have a positive experience and that our membership database is accurate and up to date.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Respond to member inquiries regarding their accounts in a timely manner by navigating and researching transactions, and printing statements upon request.

· Responsible for correspondence to members in both email and letter format.

· Support the Membership Director with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records in our system and make membership adjustments as required.

· Lead membership tours to new or prospective members.

Requirements & Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an administrative/customer service role

Associates, bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in business or office administration program considered an asset

Must be superb multi-taskers and able to work well under pressure
