On Side Restoration is seeking a National Fleet Manager to join our strong team. Reporting to the Vice President of National Corporate Operations, this role is a strategic partner who will lead the strategic management of our fleet and its day-to-day operations across the country.

With more than vehicles, our fleet is an integral and critical tool for execution of our restoration services. Our mission to grow our business and optimize our fleet to support our operations is a key part of the process.

We are also committed to reducing CO2 emissions through electrification of our fleet. As such, we have ambitions between now and (and beyond) for this transition. We are looking for a passionate, innovative leader to impactfully lead this initiative to execution.

A big part of what we do is being at the places we need to be to help our customers get back on track. This means our fleet supports the business and our customers around the clock – 24×7

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced leader to focus on fleet requirements/fit for purpose, cost management, regulatory compliance and the development of KPI’s to understand fleet performance across the county.

What you’ll do here:

You will lead the standardization and governance of the Fleet management workflow, influence strategies, and develop, distribute and reinforce policies and procedures across the On Side organization nationally. This role is multi-faceted in nature and requires great organizational and analytical skills.

Applying in-depth knowledge of the transportation industry to guide decision-making Experience in negotiating and persuading to achieve desired outcomes and drive change aligning to our strategic objectives and our Leadership Success Factors Results and solution oriented, drives and influences a bias for action Expertise in managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently and effectively Skilled in developing and implementing structured plans and processes for team operations Managing the execution and audit process compliance including implementing strategies to support business initiatives Excellent time management, prioritization, and analytical skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent technological skills, including reporting and analysis Demonstrated experience with transportation safety laws, guidelines, and regulations Drive change, recommending efficiencies and workflows Defining vehicle specs and configurations tailoring to applicable stakeholder, recognizing various needs and priorities Accountable for branding, security, licensing, and insurance coverages Maintenance management –including fuel and maintenance cards Vehicle replacement scheduling, coordination, procurement Budget development and management Vehicle dispositions, sales, accident and damage repairs Telematics, tax benefits, Fleet Policy, and other duties as required Electrification of vehicles, charging infrastructure, and supporting our future vision Performance management, and KPI’s to ensure optimization & fleet right sizing Ensuring 5S organization and cleanliness in all vehicles Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts among business partners to stay up to date with their realities and business needs as well as communicate trends and observations from the training and audit perspectives. Participate or cooperate in projects and operational initiatives.

What you bring to the table:

Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive fleet positions of increasing responsibility, including 5 years of experience as a people leader Previous experience in the Construction including 24×7 service industry will be considered an asset Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a similar field are an asset (or working towards completion) Demonstrated ability to influence others through collaboration and clear communication Demonstrated strong leadership and coaching skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide strategic advice and input Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining targets Strong ability to adapt and drive change to strengthen the On Side culture and business outcomes Proven ability to work with competing high priority tasks, under pressure while meeting deadlines Fully bilingual in French and English is a strong asset
