We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in New Westminster, British Columbia for a Payroll Administrator. This role is within the industry of finance, and involves being the primary contact for payroll and benefit inquiries for both union and non-union employees.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for employees, supervisors, and Service Canada for any payroll or benefit inquiries.
• Oversee the process of new hire onboarding and termination processes.
• Ensure all necessary changes are made in the system and maintain payroll related data files.
• Handle employment status changes and update records accordingly.
• Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payroll records.
• Generate and distribute regular operation payroll reports.
• Assist in updating job offers and descriptions and issuing employment memos.
• Support Accounts Payable functions by processing AP invoices and handling discrepancies.
• Carry out transactional accounting tasks.
• Utilize software such as ADP and Timeclock for payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian software
• Proficiency in Crystal Reports
• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
