Payroll Systems Administrator

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Payroll Systems Administrator to join our esteemed client, a well-established non-profit organization in New Westminster, BC. In this role, you will maintain and provide technical interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and act as a resource for the Executive Director.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all payroll functions in accordance with set policies and procedures.
- Confidentially manage all issues related to labor relations around scheduling difficulties and pay.
- Manage and maintain relevant acts, regulations, policies, and agreements relating to payroll administration.
- Analyze and evaluate work methods, and design, and implement 'best practice' payroll systems and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Post-secondary training in accounting (CPA/ CA) and/or payroll is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical, interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and advice regarding the company's current payroll systems.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience.
- Proficiency in computerized payroll computer systems, including payroll software and time and attendance systems.
