Wage:  CAD $20.00 per hour Shift:  Monday-Friday, mornings Job Summary Seeking a motivated Internal Communications Intern/Assistant to join our team for the summer. In this role, you will support our internal communications efforts by assisting in the creation and dissemination of engaging content to our global team members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in both French and English, and have a background in marketing. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging content for internal communications channels, including newsletter templates and email blasts, ensuring consistency in tone and branding. Translation: Translate internal communications materials from English to French, maintaining accuracy and fluency in both languages. Software Proficiency: Utilize software tools such as Canva and Klaviyo to design and distribute communications materials effectively. Data Management: Assist in managing internal communications databases and distribution lists using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. Collaboration: Work closely with the internal communications Director to brainstorm ideas, develop strategies, and execute communication plans effectively. Objectives: Enhanced Communication: Improve communication flow within the organization by delivering timely and relevant information to team members. Consistency: Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal communications channels for a cohesive organizational identity. Engagement: Increase employee engagement by creating compelling content that informs, inspires, and motivates team members. Efficiency: Streamline internal communication processes by implementing efficient systems for content creation, distribution, and feedback collection. Feedback Integration: Facilitate feedback collection from team members and integrate insights to continually improve internal communications strategies. Qualifications and Education Requirements Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year University program in related field. Fluency in French and English, with translation skills considered an asset. Proficiency in Canva and Klaviyo for content creation and distribution. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. A marketing background or relevant experience is considered an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
