The Ideal candidate will have (3) years of technical sales experience in the electronic motors / applied motor controls industry. Ability to communicate effectively to clients and collaborate efficiently.


Sales Territory:

Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Scarborough, Markham, Toronto, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, New Market, North York, Etobicoke, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Grimsby, St. Catharine’s and Niagara Falls


Lead Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the existing distributor network within the territory.
  • Identify and manage a pipeline of new potential customers and partners.
  • Develop and maintain active knowledge on both core and competitive products.
  • Prepare and administer sales quotations, contracts, and all other sales related documentation.
  • Travel to all areas of the territory to meet with, distributors, customer, decision makers and end users.
  • Set goals and objectives based on evaluation of territory potential that match company initiatives.
  • Participate in product development and design by providing customer input and feedback.
  • Coordinate tasks and deadlines with various internal departments to ensure that all projects are completed to the customers’ requirements.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Technical diploma or certificate in electrical and/or minimum five (5) years equivalent experience with electrical industrial products.
  • Minimum three (3) years sales experience.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Company products, or similar products, applications, and the electrical motor control industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, enhanced by excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Ability to understand complex electrical concepts.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more, depending on customer needs.
  • Detail orientated, independent self-starter.
