Office Administrator

A boutique accounting firm providing professional accounting services to a wide range of clients in Richmond HIll. We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator with previous experience working either in an accounting or law office.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Provide clerical support to ensure the office runs smoothly, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
Accounting Administration: Accurately process tax related documents for individuals and entities. Compiling year-end packages for clients.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate filing systems, databases, and records to ensure information is organized and easily accessible.
Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including answering phones and responding to emails.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees, management, and visitors.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic accounting software.
Self motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness.
Discretion and professionalism: Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Work Environment:
Working in a professional office setting Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The role may require flexibility in hours to accommodate deadlines during the tax season (February, April and June). The position is an in office position.

- Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Familiarity with the tax software would be an asset.
