A boutique accounting firm providing professional accounting services to a wide range of clients in Richmond HIll. We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator with previous experience working either in an accounting or law office.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support
: Provide clerical support to ensure the office runs smoothly, including

managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.

Accounting Administration:
Accurately process tax related documents for individuals and entities. Compiling year-end packages for clients.

Record Keeping
: Maintain accurate filing systems, databases, and records to ensure information is

organized and easily accessible.

Communication
: Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including

answering phones and responding to emails.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Organizational Skills:
Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Communication Skills
: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with

employees, management, and visitors.

Technical Proficiency
: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic

accounting software.

Self motivated
: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate reliability

and trustworthiness.

Discretion and professionalism:
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Work Environment:

Working in a professional office setting Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The role may require flexibility in hours to accommodate deadlines during the tax season (February, April and June). The position is an in office position.

Caseware and Caseview

Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Familiarity with the tax software would be an asset.

Salary: $55K – $66K (with performance based incentive plan up to 5% of annual salary)
