Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supervising staff, and providing support to various departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of office procedures.
Duties
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise administrative staff and provide training and development as needed.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate records through effective filing and bookkeeping practices.
- Assist with human resources functions, including payroll processing and employee onboarding.
- Handle vendor management tasks and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and budgeting purposes.
- Coordinate team management efforts to enhance collaboration among departments.
- Implement clerical procedures to streamline office workflows.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an office administration role with supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Background in human resources or payroll processing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with vendor management practices is beneficial.
- Experience with training & development initiatives is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
