Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing office operations, particularly within a dental setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our office, providing support to staff, and enhancing patient experiences. The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, managing electronic medical records, and assisting with human resources functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate their activities.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist with human resources tasks including recruitment, onboarding, and employee management.
- Utilize Tracker software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Handle budgeting tasks and monitor office expenditures.
- Provide support in dental terminology .
- Ensure a welcoming environment for patients by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline processes in dental contexts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Tracker software is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
- Understanding of medical terminology and acute care practices.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing human resources functions.
- Background in budgeting and financial oversight within an office setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
