Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist/Asstt to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners, as well as facilitating smooth communication between clients and veterinary staff.

Duties

  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly environment.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the database.
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
  • Assist with laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and processing.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Provide support to veterinary staff during busy periods by assisting with administrative tasks.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Laboratory experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist with clinical tasks.
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy in all interactions.
