We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our finance and office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software and bookkeeping processes, ensuring smooth financial management and administrative workflows. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accounting records using software such as QuickBooks
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis and assist with budgeting activities
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and payroll processes
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in office administration or similar roles is preferred but not required
