Schedule:

  • Weekdays: from 8 am till 3 pm

About the Role:

Compassion Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Health Care Aide to support a client living with dementia in SW Calgary. This is a meaningful opportunity to build a consistent care relationship in a supportive home environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful companionship care with dignity and respect
  • Plan and engage outings and activities such as walks, painting, puzzle, etc..
  • Plan and prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
  • Drive the client to local appointments and outings as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Certified Health Care Aide with 4+ years of experience
  • Experienced in dementia care
  • Mature, professional, and calm, preferably middle-aged or older
  • Holds a valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Patient, emotionally intuitive, and committed to client dignity and safety
  • Good with pets; cats and dogs
