**Minimum of 2 years prior work in a North American dental facility.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages accurately.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using AbelDent.
  • Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accordingly.
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain organized patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Handle incoming correspondence and manage office supplies inventory.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is required.
  • Proficiency with AbelDent software is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and electronic medical records systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and records.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interacting professionally with patients, staff, and vendors.
  • Experience operating multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Office experience demonstrating administrative competence is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. This position offers an engaging work environment where your organizational skills and customer service expertise will directly contribute to providing outstanding patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
