Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative, high-quality menus tailored to our restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.
- Oversee all food production activities, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage inventory levels meticulously to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of ingredients for daily operations.
- Enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service.
- Supervise shift operations, including scheduling, training, and performance management of kitchen personnel.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor food handling procedures and ensure proper storage practices are followed at all times.
- Implement cost-control measures related to food management and labor efficiency.
Experience
Candidates should bring extensive culinary experience within the food industry, especially in fine dining settings or hospitality environments that demand precision and creativity. Proven supervisory experience is essential for leading diverse teams effectively. Prior involvement in banquet catering or large-scale event food production is highly desirable. A strong background in restaurant management—including menu planning, inventory control, shift management, and food service operations—is crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with dietary department protocols, food safety standards, and kitchen management best practices will set candidates apart. Experience with bartending or beverage service can be an added advantage for providing comprehensive hospitality services.
