Need experience tandoor and curries.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, showcasing expertise in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
- Develop and implement menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively.
- Lead by example in the kitchen, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and creativity.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Head Chef or similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
- Background in hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
