Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, maintain our high standards for food quality, and contribute to the continued growth of our restaurant. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and hands-on — someone who thrives in a collaborative, small-team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, plating, and service.
  • Develop and update menus that reflect the restaurant's style, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory, food costs.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization.
  • Train and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team culture.
  • Work closely with ownership and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor portion control, presentation, and consistency of every dish leaving the kitchen.
  • Participate in planning for specials, events, and menu changes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of culinary experience, including at least 6-8 years in a leadership or head chef role.
  • Strong knowledge of fish and seafood.
  • Proven ability to manage food costs and inventory effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A commitment to quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Food safety certification.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
