**Position**:
The **Efficiency Specialist, Homewarming,** will serve as a point person for our Delivery Agents and program participants, reporting on technical data and updating key program processes and forms. This multi-faceted position includes leading a variety of tasks using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, in support of report preparation, proposal preparation, and data management. A high degree of attention to detail and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office products are required for this position.

**A snapshot of what you will be involved with**:

- Reviewing and approving upgrades for participant homes.
- Participate in regular meetings with Delivery Agents.
- Processing monthly Delivery Agent invoices (review costs, enter savings, code, and submit for approval)
- Investigating and correcting energy savings data discrepancies between Delivery Agents and Natural Resources Canada
- Sending names to Delivery Agents and Clean Foundation to ensure they can maintain a steady workflow.
- Attending outreach events and meetings with other parties involved in low-income programs, such as the Department of Community Services, Housing Nova Scotia, and the Heating Assistant Rebate Program.
- Supporting other staff on client issues, direct referrals, and other participant intake processes; and
- Provide support in Delivery Agent and client issue resolution.

**What Will Help You Succeed?**
- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering Technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with a range of energy-efficient products
- Demonstrated skills including attention to detail, customer focus, time management skills, and excellent oral communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, take the initiative, handle multiple tasks, and work to a high standard in an environment with tight timelines/deadlines.
- Ability to work in a hectic and results-orientated environment.
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

**What to expect in your first several weeks on the job**:
**In the first week, expect to**:

- Meet the HomeWarming team.
- Read and understand the Program Manual.
- Get familiar with the general processes and how the program operates.
- Have introductions to other functional areas of the business and how they interact with HomeWarming
- Meet with individual HW team members, and get familiar with their roles and how it interacts with yours.

**In the first month, expect to**:

- Meet various HW program partners and Delivery Agents
- Become familiar with the program’s targets, goals, and overall objectives.
- Become familiar with the programs process flow
- Learn how to navigate and use the program’s project tracking/management tools.
- Begin reporting metrics, distributing client leads to contractors, and preparing program reports and updates with support.
- Meet other team members within ENS that you will work closely with and understand how you will collaborate.

**In the first three months, expect to**:

- Become familiar with in-depth program specifics.
- Have written and managed various reporting and invoice approvals
- Be able to manage and navigate program tracking information and management tools and prepare program metric updates and reports without assistance.
- Manage relationships, fulfill information requests, and troubleshoot concerns of program partners, stakeholders, and relevant internal staff.
