We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our team as a **General Sales Manager**. This is a **Full-Time, Regular **position for our **Edmonton **dealership in Alberta.
The **General Sales Manager** is responsible for ensuring their team is set-up for success in delivering against ‘key’ Dealership performance metrics that are also in alignment with the Fraserway RV Mission, Vision and Values. This position will work closely with the General Manager / Multisite GM, to identify innovative ways to ensure their Dealership is poised for scalable and sustainable growth while maintaining its core values.
The **General Sales Manager** will support the vision, support and guidance to their leadership team while creating an organizational environment that stimulates morale, creativity, productivity and sharing of ideas. While building on the capability and competencies of the Dealership, the General Sales Manager will also be an ambassador for Fraserway RV in our industry and community.

**Primary Responsibilities: General Manager (25%) / Sales Manager (75%)**
- In partnership with the General Manager, responsible for the oversight and administration of the Dealership P&L.
- In partnership with the General manager, lead, coach, and mentor directly all direct reports and the staff within the Dealership.
- Proactively consult, brainstorm, share best practices and ideas with the GM, National Leads and other colleagues across dealerships for the betterment of the business.
- Partner with General Manager, in identifying strategies and implement go forward action plans to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and delivery of KPI’s to include sales, service, parts, costs, quality, productivity, efficiency, safety, and morale.
- In partnership with the National Sales Manager, responsible for driving sales and overseeing new and used inventory turns.
- In partnership with the General Manager and the support person from People & Culture, ensure appropriate succession planning is taking place. Ensure identified ‘HiPo’ employees are receiving appropriate and timely business and professional leadership development in preparation for greater roles of responsibility. Ensure all employees have visibility to opportunities they can aspire to, and an understanding of the professional development and learning required to do so.
- Provide effective leadership support to the Dealership team, to ensure it’s capitalizing on the full potential of its valuable human resources and asset capabilities.
- Promote collaboration, innovative thinking and sharing of ideas, to identify best business & people practices.
- Stay abreast of consumer trends, demands, changing tastes and competitor value propositions.
- Establish and maintain positive and prudent relationships with vendors.
- Utilize technology to effectively market dealership offerings to target marketplace customers.
- Ongoing soliciting of employee and customer feedback, to identify Dealership strengths and areas of opportunity.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to safety procedures and standards.
- Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of the sales team.
- Develop, implement and monitor detailed inside and outside sales strategies and objectives.
- Ensure the provision of excellent customer service.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention levels.
- Implement and execute the Company's marketing strategy and business plans as per the General Manager.
- Build and retain an effective team of sales representatives.
- Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve sales goals.
- Attain budgeted revenue expectations for the sales department set by the General Manger.
- Set sales expectations for each of the sales representatives including customer expectations and quota achievement.
- Measure the activities of sales representatives.
- Complete various sales reports as needed by head office and the General Manager.
