**Job description - Outside Sales**
**Job Description/Requirements: Outside Sales/Account Manager**
**Territory: Edmonton (local office) and Northern Alberta**
**Key Responsibilities, but not limited to**:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success for mechanical lines
- Identifies and generates new prospects/sales leads
- Facilitates growth of sales within specified region by developing and sustaining long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Assists with troubleshooting/generating solutions with new/existing customers within a timely manner
- Maintains client satisfaction by delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Upholds the values and priorities of Kadin Sales Ltd. in all business interactions and decisions
- Develops and maintains a good understanding of market conditions and provides regular updates to management and vendors as applicable
- Forecast and track key account metrics of your territory utilizing the Voze CRM; this will include wholesale/retail showrooms and second-step distributors as applicable
- Liaise between the customer and internal team
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
- Promote all mechanical products that we represent via sales calls, trainings, lunch & learns, etc.
- Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services
- Work with wholesale outside and inside sales teams to identify opportunities and develop relationships with their customer base
- Attend trade shows and events, to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
- Communicate all promotions, spiffs, etc. to the necessary contacts in your customers base
- Complies with and maintains all company standards, processes, regulations and requirements
- General warehouse duties a couple days/week, including shipping/receiving of represented product lines
**Requirements**:
- Proven account management or other relevant experience
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Listens to understand the customers needs, is client-focused by showing a willingness, eagerness, and profundity to find the right solution for that customer
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5(+) years of sales or marketing experience with agency background desirable
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Understanding of the plumbing industry a plus
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Proactive attitude; always looking to improve inefficient processes
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Expert at Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Travel and events outside of regular hours is required
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
