**Position Summary**:
**Qualifications**:
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with a full range of activities related to health services planning and project management including: current state assessments, process mapping, information and data collection, root cause analysis, future state identification, gap analysis, solution identification and testing, and implementation planning.
- Understand and use appropriate data collection methodologies to collect relevant planning information; and perform basic analyses of quantitative and qualitative data to assist the department in making recommendations on planning priorities
- Organize and monitor implementation plans and ensure that deadlines are met
- Complete any necessary administrative tasks to support project implementation, such as scheduling meetings, recording meeting minutes, etc.
- Write and contribute to written communications, including briefing notes, reports, oral presentations, analytical documents, meeting minutes and notes and Project Management tools
- Demonstrate commitment to stakeholders’ needs and confidentiality continuously
- Create and provide reports on activities and progress
- Act as a resource with regard to planning and project management processes and tools
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year project support or coordination experience - preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and deliver reports
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, work effectively, and meet competing deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Visio
- Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Understanding of the Ontario health-care system, its stakeholders, programs and issues, an asset
**Education and/or Certification**:
- Baccalaureate in health care or related social sciences field or equivalent - required
- Specialized training in project management - preferred
