**You will make an impact by**:

- Collaborating with leaders to identify recruitment needs, skill requirements, and best sources to attract top talent
- Designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy
- Conducting interviews, supporting the selection process, and working with leaders through the closing process
- Regularly connecting with existing associates, as well as with those who have decided to leave the organization, with a focus on the employee experience and continuous improvement

**Your mindset and skills include**:

- An in-depth knowledge of Human Resources, employee relations, and Canadian employment legislation
- Ability to foster strong relationships, with employees at all levels including executive leaders
- Ability to work independently, identify and prioritize issues and develop alternative solutions
- Strong initiative and work ethic to effectively support the team in a professional, timely and courteous manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity and interest in understanding situations as well as emerging trends in talent acquisition

**You have experience and education including**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of recruiting experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
