**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Drive to various offices on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in Calgary and the surrounding area.
- Support the management of daily office operations and maintain their internal processes and documentation.
- Perform account reconciliation and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage50, PCLaw, EsiLaw, CosmoLex, Soluno and other tools for account analysis such as Excel and Word.
- Collaborate with full-time office team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
**Qualifications**
- Ability to have a flexible schedule as clients need and be able to drive around the areas.
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping software is mandatory.
- Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable functions.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail including electronic document management and retention.
- Ability to analyze financial data and discuss questions with senior management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $40.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay

- Secondary School (preferred)

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
