**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE**:
**_This role is required to report to the location each day._**
- Understanding Employment legislation in Alberta
- Post jobs and ads in select locations. Screen and source qualified applicants and resumes. Coordinate the interview process with individuals and panels. Gather interview feedback and communicate with applicants during and after the interview process. Conduct employee onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth new hire transition to the new team.
- Schedule interviews, draft questions, attend job fairs and other recruiting events. Perform other duties as assigned. Manage the recruitment process, including, preparing the job postings, screening resumes, conducting telephonic, video, and in person interviews, completing reference checks, making recommendations for hire, and preparing and extending offer letters.
- Respond to general inquiries from employees in a timely manner, with organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and changing priorities while maintaining high degree of accuracy and customer service.
- Completing various reports to be shared with various stakeholders
- Assisting Administration Department in sales floor as and when required depending on business needs, staff shortage and busy period.

The duties of this position include:

- Recruiting employees for all positions within the company, which includes managing job descriptions, creating job postings, posting positions, exploring new avenues for recruiting staff, sorting resumes and directing them appropriately within the company.
- Assisting with online and in-person career fairs.
- Assisting to select employees for all positions within the company, which includes reviewing resumes, developing interview questions, arranging and conducting interviews, performing reference checks, and making hiring recommendations.
- Requesting and checking any pre-hire documentation required, running criminal background checks on potential employees, and preparing offers of employment.
- Sending out orientation packages and assisting with the onboarding of new employees.
- Assisting with enrolling employees onto the group health benefits plan.
- Assisting to develop, promote, and maintain internal programs for attracting and retaining staff.
- Promoting formal and informal recognition programs.
- Keeping abreast of changes to immigration programs that could assist with hiring and benefit the company.
- Recording and tracking training.
- Responsible to develop and implement Human Resource policies and SOP’s.
- Supports Leaders in all disciplinary actions and coordinates the‘ next step’ process in identifying the response to all disciplinary issues.
- _Facilitate onboarding sessions, ensuring all compliance related requirements are met, signed off and collected; new hire paperwork, tax forms, seasonal agreements, training, and health & safety are completed._
- _Travel to Calgary as required._
- _Organize, maintain and update employee files._
- _Liaise with Centralized Payroll with new hire information_
- _Prepare document packages for performance reviews, new hire forms, orientation packages and training_
- _Help drive employee engagement as an ambassador for our recognition program_
- _Assist with coordinating special events and employee recognition activities_
- Assisting to plan, organize, and execute social events for staff.
- _Other related duties and tasks as assigned_

**What you bring**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources field
- Ideally 5+years in progressive Human Resource roles
- Excellent planning, project management, and presentation skills
- Able to build and manage relationships with cross-functional departments
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- 1-2 years of recruiting experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with an agency or in-house recruiting (experience recruiting in professional services or consulting is considered an asset).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
