**Job Overview**:
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the day-to-day operations of the human resources department to ensure the efficient delivery of recruitment processes while also maintaining the accuracy of employee data records.

The HR Coordinator provides a customer focused and effective HR support service to the organization across multiple regions to achieve the organizations goals and objectives.
- Recruitment & On-Boarding_:

- Generate and present offer letters to selected applicants; communicate with new hires & coordinate with support teams to assist with on-boarding and provide seamless new start process.
- Assist in review, assessment and development of employee handbook and safety guides along with employee buy-in and sign off.
- Employee Care & Administration_:

- Maintain all electronic employee files with complete accuracy.
- Review, research, manage & maintain all Canada & Alberta Job Grant Applications for future Learning & Development courses for all employees.
- Development & performance of HRMS Audits.
- Record keeping and system maintenance for all private personnel data.
- Update organizational charts for management use.
- Liaise with Payroll on compensation.
- Assist in the preparation and attendance of career fairs.
- Perform employee requests such as employment letters and assistance in benefit claims.
- Prepare source documentation needed for new hires and effective changes in pay, status or benefits.
- Support various HR projects as initiated or assigned by the supervisor.

**Skills Required**:

- Post secondary Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management.
- CPHR designation would be considered an asset.
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources position and recruitment experience.
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, such as resume databases, online communities, social media recruiting.
- Effective time management skills, top-notch analytical skills and ability to prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
- A background in Construction Administration, Drafting, and/or Project Management.
- Skillful in the usage of Microsoft Excel, MS Project, Microsoft Suite, etc.
- Advanced proficiency with technology and ability to pick up new tech with ease.
- Works well in a team or independently.
- Team attitude and willingness to take on jobs.
- Good understanding of employment law, contract law & human rights.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information.
- Understanding of the Residential Construction Industry would be considered an asset.
