**Kuby Renewable Energy Ltd.** is an Edmonton-based solar PV contracting company, with offices in Kamloops, BC and future offices planned for Calgary, AB. Kuby Energy services Western and Northern Canada, providing full-service residential and commercial solar power and energy storage solutions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Liaising with department heads on their staffing needs
- Coordinating full cycle recruitment (creating documents, screening resumes, performing
interviews, conducting reference checks and extending offers)
- Onboarding new employees and ensuring all documentation is completed
- Providing guidance and support to all staff and management on Human Resources related
matters
- Creating, updating and implementing corporate policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, labour laws and employment standard regulations
- Compiling and managing all required documentation from staff and management as needed
- Executing the performance management program on a semi-annual basis
- Maintaining and advising on company benefits
- Tracking of absences (vacation, sick days, leaves, etc.)
- Monitoring and tracking the safety training and learning & development needs of all staff
- Researching any new developments within the Human Resources field and any legislation
- Reporting on the key performance indicators of all departments

**REQUIREMENTS & ASSETS**:

- Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation (CPHR)
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS excel, word, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, time management and leadership skills
- Excellent creative and technical writing skills would be an asset
- Previous work in a small team setting where you have had the ability to recruit staff in various fields of work would be an asset as well
