Cantiro is growing, and we currently have **two open requisitions** for **Accounts Payable Coordinator(s**) for a **6-month term contract**, with _**potential for permanent employment **_once the contract ends.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the **Accounts Payable Coordinator** is responsible for the day to day process of invoices, mail, and cheques.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Enter invoices into Timberline system, ensuring accurate coding is completed by Site Superintendents or Project Managers
- Process cheque runs and submit for review by Corporate Controller
- Acquire appropriate signatures for all cheques and scan into AP folders
- Meet bi-weekly and monthly deadlines, specifically adhering to accounting cut-off periods
- Provide accounting administrative support which may include general clerical tasks, such as drafting documents, filing and stocking office supplies
- Point of contact for contractor inquiries
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

**Qualifications, Education & Other Requirements**:

- 3-4 years’ experience in full-cycle accounting accounts payable role
- Knowledge of **Sage 300 and Timberline i**s an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated interpersonal/customer service skills
- Able to work professionally and effectively with Project Managers
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Well-organized, confident individual with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter, able to obtain complete and accurate resolutions
- Able to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
- Able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$27.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- full-cycle accounting accounts payable: 3 years (required)
- Sage 300 and Timberline: 1 year (preferred)
