The Office Manager is an invaluable member of our Admin Department focusing on the accuracy of accounting and payroll practices. A natural multi-tasker with the ability to manage priorities will flourish in this role.

Job Duties:

- Completion of timely and accurate full cycle payroll processes, in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Administration of employee benefits and RRSP programs.
- Understand and keep abreast of payroll regulations, i.e. statutory deductions, T4 processing, employment standards, etc.
- Maintenance of all employment-related records.
- Work with other team members and departments to coordinate payroll and accounting information
- Monthly general ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor, in accordance with company guidelines, the implementation, updating, reviewing and auditing of the health and safety program and systems.
- Submission of WCB claims and monitoring
- Assist the Controller with managing the administrative staff.
- General Filing and administrative tasks
- Other duties as required.
- Minimum 5 year’s industry experience
- Minimum 3 year’s payroll experience with varied remuneration types and schedules, a certificate or diploma an asset
- CDK Experience an asset
- **Month End Execution on the first & second business day of each month, lieu time available as compensation for month end.**:

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company and employee financial and personal information
- Strong communication, organization and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
- Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment.
