The Mikisew Cree First Nation (Mikisew) has lived on the ancestral lands of the Athabasca Delta and Wood Buffalo National Park in northeastern Alberta since time immemorial. **Who You Are**

Mikisew is currently seeking a dedicated a **Office Manager**. The Office Manager oversees the efficient functioning of our office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and providing administrative support to various departments. They are responsible for managing office supplies, coordinating meetings and events, handling correspondence, and implementing office policies and procedures to maintain a productive work environment.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Manage office operations and administrative activities, including but not limited to mail distribution, supply inventory, and office maintenance.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff and executives.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up workstations and providing necessary resources.
- Work alongside administrative staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
- Manage office budgets and expenses, tracking spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle confidential documents with discretion.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including office equipment, technology, furniture, and supplies.
- Ensure all assets are tracked, tagged, and properly recorded in the asset management.
- Coordinate the disposal, transfer, or upgrade of company assets in compliance with company policies.
- Manage the procurement of new assets, including getting quotes, placing orders, and following up on delivery and installation.
- Conduct periodic audits of company assets to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Help generate and prepare office-related reports, such as monthly expense reports and asset management updates.
- Review and reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements with transaction records, ensuring that all charges are valid, appropriately documented, and within company policy.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in office management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
