**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction project specifications and drawings to estimate the costs involved in completing the project.

**Responsibilities**

**Prepare work estimate by gathering proposals blueprint specifications and related documents.**

**Identify labor material and time requirements through analysis of proposals and documents.**

**Compute cost by analyzing labor material and time requirement.**

**Take a lead or support role in lump sum bid process**
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for estimating purposes
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best pricing for materials and services
- Develop detailed proposals outlining the scope of work, pricing, and timelines
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in project management software
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and HeavyBid software is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of building materials, methods, and regulations
