Western Weather Protector is in need of an organized **Health and Safety Administrator **to support our Health & Safety team at our St.Albert location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the timely and accurate capture, organization and maintenance of required H&S documentation workflows
- Responsible for data entry and maintenance of various H&S data base systems; training matrices, incident/injury, sitedocs apps, etc.
- Compile statistical information and create reports
- Coordinate and communicate training schedule, support/deliver orientation sessions as appropriate
- Record, document, and file meeting minutes/agendas for weekly foreman safety meeting, general safety, and other meetings as per management requests
- Assist in the creation and distribution of safety notifications and bulletins and newsletters
- Support COR audit activities as assigned
- Support to the Health and Safety team as needed including but not limited to field inspections, supporting the Advisors as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in Health &Safety in general
- Positive, energetic and self-directed, with effective time management and organizational skills including the ability to deal with several priorities at the same time
- Extremely organized and detail orientated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated competence in both verbal and writing skills
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
- Competence with office administration is required
- University/College education preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with health & safety software such as SiteDocs is an asset
- Familiarity with COR is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10-12 months

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
