**About the Position**

The Health and Safety Administrative Coordinator will report to our Director of Health and Safety. This position will be a hybrid role with time spent both in an office as well as remote. We offer flexibility on work hours, with the expectation of 20 hours per week.

**Job Duties**
- Provide administrative support to the Heath and Safety Director and the Heath and Safety Department by organizing and maintaining health and safety records, drafting documents, letters and communications, and updating client-based safety portals
- Support Commercial Cleaning Services Heath and Safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with company and client safety requirements, as well as government legislative regulations
- Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of health and safety hazards to control risks in the workplace
- Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and support of the company’s Early and Safe Return to Work (ESRTW) program
- Participate in audits of health and safety performance and produce regular reports
- Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee and other Heath and Safety functions at job sites
- Coordinate Health and Safety Trainings and manage documentation of completed trainings
- Post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resource Management, or similar; in progress or close to completion
- JHSC Certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in the Health and Safety field and ongoing effort to learn
- Ability to work independently and take ownership over work to meet commitments
- Strong attention to detail in all areas of work
- Time management skills; ability to multitask and meet changing priorities
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite; comfortable learning additional software
- Positive, friendly mindset and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
